Since 1983, we have been serving our community proudly, catering to our Good Neighbors in Lexington and the surrounding Lexington County. We are here for the residents of Lexington and the neighboring areas, including West Columbia, Chapin, Columbia, Irmo, Pelion, Gilbert, Saluda, Newberry, Orangeburg County, and all of South Carolina.

Our team enjoys assisting our Good Neighbors with a diverse range of State Farm products, such as Homeowners, Auto, Small Business, Motorcycle, Boat, and Pet Insurance. Additionally, we provide coverage for recreational vehicles like travel trailers, golf carts, side-by-sides, ATVs, or 4-wheelers. About me: Originally from Seneca, South Carolina, I am a proud graduate of The University of South Carolina. With over 40 years of experience, I have been managing my State Farm office in Lexington. Actively engaged in the Lexington Chamber of Commerce, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the community. Before becoming an agent, I spent 9 years working with another State Farm agent. In addition, my husband, Pete, and I are actively involved at Mt. Horeb Church. Outside of work, we cherish spending time with our family outdoors, watching sports, and appreciating beautiful sunsets. Michelle started her career with State Farm in 1995 and joined the Denise Thomas State Farm Insurance team in 1999 where she serves as Office Manager and Personal Account Representative. Michelle’s past experience, her strive for excellence, and her ability to relate to customers provides a great value to our team.

Michelle was raised in a military home and was fortunate to experience many parts of the world. Michelle is an alumni of the University of South Carolina. She lives in Lexington with her husband, Eric, and two boys, Carson and Parker.

Michelle is licensed in Auto Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Life Insurance, & Health Insurance in the state of South Carolina.

Kaye began her career with State Farm in 1998 and began working for Denise in 2010 as an Account Representative. She is licensed in Auto Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Renters Insurance, Life Insurance and Health Insurance. Her passion is claims resolution and helping customers navigate through any issues that might arise.

When not working on insurance, Kaye enjoys reading, hiking in the mountains, and her church family. She is the wife to Billy, mother to daughters, Ashley and Whitney, and also a golden doodle Siddalee!

Pete started with State Farm in 1971 in Bloomington, IL. He's held positions in claims, management, and went into agency in Conway, SC in 1983 before being appointed to State Farm Agency in West Columbia in 1988. He retired from agency in 2002 to join forces with his wife, Denise, and her team. He especially loves helping customers with their Homeowners Insurance and Car Insurance.

He's blessed with 3 wonderful children and 6 grandchildren. He enjoys being involved with the church and playing golf with his buddies when he is not helping others with insurance.

Her knowledge of the insurance industry, and excitement to learn, makes her an asset to Denise’s office and to our State Farm customers. Katelyn grew up in Spartanburg, and then moved to the Lexington area in 2009. She now lives in Irmo with her husband, Chuck, and two daughters, Mabry and Hallie, with their dog Maggie. A fun fact about Katelyn is that she’s a licensed open water scuba diver!
